The Symbol Object

The Symbol object is an element of the Symbols collection and contains all the information stored about each symbol in the model.

Properties for the Symbol Object

Count

The element count for the symbol. (Integer Property - Read Only)

Declaration

The declaration of the symbol. (String Property - Read Only)

LineNumber

The line number of the symbol defined in the MPL model file. (Integer Property - Read Only)

Name

The name of the symbol. (String Property - Read Only)

SymbolNr

The symbol number in the model. (Integer Property - Read Only)

TableNr

The table type number for the symbol. (Integer Property - Read Only)

Type

The type of the symbol. (Enumerated Property - Read Only). Possible values are given here below:
