OptiWin

Abstract: Tools such as MPL provide a rich interactive environment for developing mathematical programming models. We illustrate a production application which uses MPL as an embedded component of a distributed programming/modeling system. We also show software extensions which integrate client/server capability into MPL. The scope of extending this approach to internet/intranet computing paradigm is also discussed.
