Implementing Supply-Chain Optimisation Models in an Algebraic Modelling Language
Abstract: Supply-Chain Management solutions are increasingly utilising optimisation models to provide better decision-making information. We will discuss how supply-chain optimisation models can be implemented in an algebraic modelling language, such as MPL, leanding to reduced development times. We will demonstrate a standalone supply-chain application written in Visual Basic that incorporates an optimisation model.
